Editing Photos on an early 2015 MacBook Pro 13 inch.

I am a NYC Professional Photographer. To say I have experience is a bit of an understatement. In fact I have been a Photographer for almost 45 years!

I have photographed with almost all types of cameras. From an 8×10 wooden Deardorff film camera with an uncoated lens with no shutter! to a Hasselblad with a Zeiss 80mm lens.Of course Nikons,F-F2-F3-F4’s all the wonderful Nikons over the years. Throw in a Mamiyaflex C330 and a few others, I have defiantly enjoyed a ton of great Film cameras.

But as of 2020, I have been shooting a Digital Camera, as of now a Nikon D810, and before that some Fuji’s and Canon’s as well as a wonderful Sony A900 with a Zeis 24-90mm zoom! That was a very sweet camera indeed.

Now I work hard with my Nikon D810 and a 28-70mm Pro zoom, a 50mm Nikkor and sweet 85mm Nikkor.

What brings it all home is use of the wonderfully sweet image editor that I use on my Macbook Pro. I use Capture One Pro-20. its a rather steep learning curve but I find it superior to using Adobe Lightroom. I have never enjoyed using Lightroom. The files, raw files I get from Capture One Pro on a 13 inch MacBook Pro Retina are simply stunning! amazing sharpness and color. The finest files I have ever seen.

What bring it all home is the ease of use I get when editing on my MacBook Pro.

Smooth, no issues, just gets out of the way. Just like you would want it too!

www.scottwbaker.com has my work, so enjoy.
